Royals Sintillates Royally

Rajasthan Royals produced a scintillating performance by beating Mumbai Indians in every department of the game and registered comprehensive 87-run victory in the IPL 6 match at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Rajasthan bowlers fired in unison to help Royals restrict Mumbai to modest 92 and continue their winning run at home. James Faulkner was the pick of the bowler with three wickets while Ajit Chandila and Stuart Binny took two wickets apiece.
Earlier in the game Ajinkya Rahane led from the front as he cracked an unbeaten 68 to help Rajasthan Royals set 180-run target for Mumbai Indians. Brad Hodge also played a fine cameo as he remained unbeaten on 27 of 15 with the help of two sixes. The 53-run unbeaten stand by Rahane and Hodge for the fourth wicket powered Royals to 179/3 in 20 overs.
Chasing 180-run target, Mumbai Indians never recovered from their poor start as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Only Dinesh Karthik tried to wage a lone battle, making 30 off 32 balls but it was not good enough to take Mumbai past Royals target.
Royals have made two changes, bringing in Ankeet Chavan in place of S Sreesanth and Dishant Yagnik replaced Sanju Samson. Mumbai, on the other hand, fielded an unchanged squad from their last game.

Angelina Jolie opened a school in Afghanistan funded by her charity

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has opened a school in Afghanistan through her foundation The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.

Angelina Jolie has reportedly said that the all-girls school she is building in Afghanistan has opened, funded by her eponymous jewellery collection.

The actress who is also a philanthropist said “The school located outside of Kabul educates from 200 to 300 students and are funded by her Jewellery Collection. It was funded by the Style of Jolie jewellery line—a collection of jewellery created by Jolie and Robert Procop, a gem expert, private jeweller and jewellery designer. Jolie told E Online! That the new school will be one of many girls schools that will be built and funded through the proceeds from the jewellery collection.

The high jewellery pieces for the Style of Jolie collection are known for using statement gemstones cut in the shape of a tablet, an exclusive feature. Procop had also earlier told in January that Jolie wanted something with an historical message and spent a great deal of time studying how a tablet is held. Together they designed the shape. All proceeds from the sales are used to build schools for girls in impoverished countries through the Education Partnerships for Children of Conflicts, co-founded by Jolie.

The actress, who is also United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, is known for her charity work. Last year, Jolie was left in tears after visiting a Syrian refugee camp.
