Shambhu is left alone to deal with peer pressure, responsibilities and adjustments faced by most teenagers; a world for which he is not prepared.A huge fight with some local boys and a serious showdown at school with his teachers deepens his crisis. So Shambhu, who just wants to be happy, runs away from home. In route he meets Vitthal, an extremely smart kid, who comes from a nearby fishermen’s colony. In Vitthal, Shambhu discovers an alter-ego - the individual that he always desired to be.
Director Sagar Bellary says: Kaccha Limboo will strike a chord with youngsters and adults alike. In my opinion, this is a first-of-its-kind film in Bollywood that explores the mind of an adolescent. I had thought of this idea when I was studying at the Satyajit Ray Institute at Kolkata. I wanted to make my debut with this film but then Bheja Fry happened.
The Buzz:The film has been shot with real students. The director did not rope in child artistes as he wanted to give a chance to kids who aspire to be actors.
